N-up PDF
Put 2, 4, 6 or 9 PDF pages on each sheet and save it as a new PDF, handy for printing slides and handouts on less paper. Your file is never uploaded.
Your files never leave this device. Everything is processed inside your browser and nothing is uploaded to a server.
How to use the N-up PDF tool
- Click "Choose PDF file" or drag the PDF onto the screen.
- Choose how many pages go on each sheet (2, 4, 6 or 9) and the paper size (A4 or Letter). You can also add a border around each page.

- Click "Create N-up PDF", then "Download" when it is done.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Files are processed only inside your browser and are never sent to any server. Only the code and character mapping data needed for processing are downloaded from this site; your files themselves never leave your device. You can check this yourself in the Network tab of your browser's developer tools.
Are my files safe even with ads on the page?
Yes. Ads only run outside the tool area. The tool area, where you choose and process files, is an isolated space your browser keeps separate, so other scripts on the page, including ads, cannot read your file content or file names. Nothing inside the tool area can be sent out. When you drag a file onto the page, the tool area expands to fill the screen so the isolated space receives the file.
When is N-up useful?
It saves paper when printing slides or long handouts. It works like the "pages per sheet" printer setting, but you get a PDF you can keep or send to others.
How is the paper orientation chosen?
With 2 or 6 pages per sheet the paper is turned to landscape so pages sit side by side. With 4 or 9 it stays portrait. This gives the largest cells for portrait documents.
Will the text get blurry?
No. Pages are scaled down as they are, not turned into images, so they stay sharp when zoomed in, and text can still be selected and searched. With 9 pages per sheet, printed text will be small, though.
Does it work with pages of different sizes or orientations?
Yes. Each page is scaled to fit its cell, keeping its proportions, and centered. Rotated pages are placed the way they appear on screen.
Are filled-in forms, signatures and comments included?
They are included the way they look when printed. Form entries, signatures and stamps that print are drawn onto the page, while screen-only buttons and comment pop-ups are left out. Highlights, underlines and strikeouts are redrawn even without a saved appearance. If another comment has no saved appearance, or a form entry without one uses characters the built-in font lacks, you will be told it cannot be moved. In that case, save the PDF once with "Print → Save as PDF" in your PDF viewer and try again.
I want to change the page order.
Reorder or delete pages with "Organize PDF" first, then make the N-up PDF.
