How to use the Organize PDF tool
- Click "Choose PDF file" or drag the PDF you want to organize onto the page.
- Drag pages or use the ◀ ▶ buttons to change the order. The number at the top left of each page is its position in the new PDF.
- Click "Exclude" on pages you do not need. They are dimmed, and "Restore" puts them back. Click "Reset" to go back to the original.
- Click "Organize PDF". When it is done, click "Download".
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Files are processed only inside your browser and are never sent to any server. Only the code and character mapping data needed for processing are downloaded from this site; your files themselves never leave your device. You can check this yourself in the Network tab of your browser's developer tools.
Are my files safe even with ads on the page?
Yes. Ads only run outside the tool area. The tool area, where you choose and process files, is an isolated space your browser keeps separate, so other scripts on the page, including ads, cannot read your file content or file names. Nothing inside the tool area can be sent out. When you drag a file onto the page, the tool area expands to fill the screen so the isolated space receives the file.
Is my original file changed?
No. The original stays as it is, and you download the result as a new PDF file.
Does organizing reduce quality?
No. Pages are not redrawn. The content of the original PDF is copied as is, so text and images keep their quality.
I want to mix pages from several PDFs.
Use the Merge PDF tool. Add several files, show the pages of each file, reorder or leave out pages, and merge them into one.
Can I organize password-protected PDFs?
Yes. Enter the password when you open the file. The result has no password, so keep it somewhere safe. The password is only used on this device.
